Why was my credit card charged twice?

Reservation vs. charge

Please check whether one of the charges is possibly only a reservation.

In the case of an automatic renewal of the subscription, two entries are always recorded:

  • A reservation of the amount (usually 2 days before the charge) – we use it to check whether the account has sufficient funds and whether the credit card is still valid.
  • The actual charge (2 days later).

ℹ Note

If one of the criteria does not apply, you will be notified by e-mail. If both are in order, the amount is charged two days after the reservation.
