Starting up the router before activation

Can I start using my router before the activation?

No, the router can only be put into operation once our line has been activated. Before that, the connection will not work technically – even if you already received the modem.

If you’d like to bring forward the scheduled activation date, feel free to contact our support. Please note:


  • For a fiber line, the activation lead time is 10–14 days.
  • A change within this period is not recommended, as it may delay the activation further.

As soon as the line is active, you can connect and use the modem as described in our guide.
