DSL: Activation page is displayed – what to do?

If you have a DSL line, you do not need to enter an activation code. If an activation page from Swisscom still appears, there are two possible causes.

Possible causes and solutions

1It is not yet 5:00 pm on the activation day

No problem – just wait. The line will be activated automatically at 5:00 pm at the latest.

2It is after 5:00 pm – the activation page is still displayed

In this case, your line was activated on the wrong connection number. Please send us the connection identification number (Binding ID) so that we can correctly activate the line.

The Binding ID can be found on the activation page itself. It starts with "AC0.XXX". See our corresponding help article to learn how to read it.
