Setting up your Phone (Zyxel Router)

This article guides you through setting up telephony on your Zyxel router (Zyxel AX7501). Follow these steps to configure the settings correctly and ensure everything works smoothly.

Accessing the Device Configuration

1. Option 1:
   • Enter the address http://myrouter.local in your browser.
   • Username: [blank]
   • Password: 1234
2. Option 2:
   • Enter the IP address 192.168.1.1 in your browser's address bar.
   • Username: [blank]
   • Password: 1234
3. Option 3:
   • Enter the IP address 192.168.1.1 in your browser's address bar.
   • Username: admin
   • Password: 1234

Phone Credentials

You have received the phone credentials separately via email. You can also find them here in your customer account under “My Services” -> “Landline” -> “Setup”.

Important Note

• The ZYXEL AX7501 does not have a DECT function and cannot be connected to a DECT phone such as a FRITZ!Fon.
