Setting up your Phone (FRITZ!Box Router)
This guide helps you set up your phone on the FRITZ!Box router – also useful if you cannot make calls or are not reachable.
How to proceed
1Connect your device
Make sure you are connected to the FRITZ!Box, preferably via a LAN cable (yellow). Wi-Fi is also possible.
2Open a browser
Open a browser (e.g. Firefox, Safari, Chrome) and go to http://fritz.box/. If that doesn't work, try 192.168.178.254 or 169.254.1.1.
3Open "Telephony"
Click on "Telephony" in the FRITZ!Box interface.
4Add a new number
Under "Telephony", select "Own Numbers" and click "New Number".
5Select the provider
In the dropdown, choose "Teleboy". If not available, select "Other Provider".

ℹ Note
The available providers in the dropdown depend on the country setting of the FRITZ!Box.
6Enter VoIP credentials
Enter the Internet number, username, password, and registrar. You can find your credentials in your customer account at my.teleboy.ch → "My Services" → "Landline" → "Setup".
7Follow the wizard
Click "Next" and follow the steps.
8PVC option disabled
Make sure the "PVC" checkbox is not enabled.

9Restart the FRITZ!Box
Restart the FRITZ!Box – setup is then complete.
✓ Done!
Your phone is now set up on the FRITZ!Box. Images may vary slightly depending on the router firmware, but terms and paths remain the same.
