What is an OTO-ID and where can I find it?

What is the OTO-ID?

The OTO-ID is the number of the fibre optic socket. The socket is usually located in the living room, next to the main telephone socket. The number is printed on the socket and usually starts with B.xxx, A.xxx or rarely with O.xxx.

No fibre optic socket yet?

If your apartment does not yet have a fibre optic socket (OTO socket), no problem: you can indicate this directly during the ordering process. A Swisscom technician will then handle the installation – Teleboy does not charge you any additional costs.

⚠ Important

Please check carefully whether there is already an OTO socket in your apartment. If the Swisscom technician finds during their visit that a socket is already installed and the order has to be cancelled, a cancellation fee of CHF 100.– to CHF 150.– may apply.
