Set restrictions on Apple TV
The restrictions on Apple TV allow you to control access to certain content and functions – particularly useful for parental controls or to prevent unauthorised changes to the channel list.
Activate or deactivate restrictions
Go to the general settings and select Restrictions. The first time you activate this, you will be asked to set a four-digit code – required for all future changes.
Set up the parental control filter
The parental control filter helps censor objectionable content and can be set so that programmes are only available at certain times. Activate parental control in the restrictions menu and adjust the settings.
Lock channel management
If you want to prevent changes to your channel list without entering a code, activate the corresponding option in the restriction settings.
Manage «Recently watched» on the home screen
In the restrictions, you can specify whether the Recently Watched – Continue Watching lane appears on your home screen or not.
Forgot your restriction code
⚠ Attention
If you have forgotten your restriction code, you need to uninstall and reinstall the Teleboy app. Restrictions will need to be set up again after installation.
Availability
The restrictions feature is currently only available in the Teleboy app for Apple TV.
