Why is my set-up box that runs on Android (such as Formuler Z) not supported for using Teleboy TV?
The differences between Android and Android TV / Google TV lie in the specific adjustments and optimizations made for use on set-up boxes.
Android, the operating system that runs on most smartphones and tablets, is not ideal for use on TVs. It was designed to run on devices with touchscreens and a specific set of features and applications. A set-up box running on a traditional version of Android (such as a Formuler Z box) may have compatibility, performance, and user experience issues with some TV apps, especially if they are optimized for Android TV or Google TV.
In contrast, Android TV and Google TV are designed specifically for use on TVs and set-up boxes. They offer a user-friendly, intuitive interface optimized for use with a remote control. They are also compatible with the most popular streaming services and offer better performance and stability on TVs.
For this reason, to use Teleboy TV App we recommend devices equipped with Android TV or Google TV, such as Nokia Streaming Box 8000, Xiaomi Mi Box S or a Google Chromecast of the latest generation.
