Is the Skip-Ad function worth it for me?

Whether the Skip-Ad function is worth it for you depends on which channels you watch and how you use Replay.

Skip-Ad is mainly worth it if you watch Swiss and German private channels or the SRG channels (SRF, RTS, RSI) in Replay – that is exactly where Replay ads are shown. If you mainly watch ARD, ZDF or ORF, you hardly need Skip-Ad.

Which channels show Replay ads?

Replay advertising is based on an industry-wide agreement that all Swiss TV providers must adhere to. Ads play automatically when you start, pause or fast-forward a programme in Replay.

Channels with Replay ads: the SRG channels SRF, RTS and RSI as well as private TV channels from Switzerland and Germany, for example CH Media (3+, 4+, 5+, TV24 etc.), RTL and ProSiebenSat.1.

Channels without Replay ads: ARD, ZDF and ORF as well as many international channels outside Switzerland and Germany.

When is Skip-Ad worth it?

Skip-Ad is worth it for you if one or more of these points apply to you:

• You often watch SRF, RTS or RSI in Replay.
• You enjoy private channels such as RTL, ProSiebenSat.1 or CH Media (3+, 4+, 5+, TV24 etc.).
• You often use the pause or fast-forward function in Replay.
• You want to watch a programme without interruptions.
