Can I keep my fixed network contract with another provider?

In principle, no – maintaining two separate connections (landline + Internet) via two different copper cables is no longer practical or financially worthwhile.

How to proceed

1Why it generally isn't possible

Both Swisscom and Sunrise now connect telephony customers only via Internet telephony. Maintaining two separate lines (one for Internet, one for the landline) would be costly and pointless.

2Exception: fibre optic

If you get fibre from Teleboy, a combined solution would be technically possible – but it would probably not be financially worthwhile.

3Port your existing landline number

It is possible to transfer your existing landline number to Teleboy. You can indicate this when placing your order. If you have already ordered, contact us via our support.

ℹ Note

Teleboy landline telephony works via VoIP (Internet). A separate telephone line is therefore not required.
